China.0rg—On March 24,the State Council Information Office hosted the first news conference on the first China International Consumer Products Expo (hereafter referred to as “CICPE”)in Beijing. Wang Bingnan,vice minister of the Ministry of Commerce,Shen Danyang,member of the Standing Provincial Committee of the CPC in Hainan and the executive vice governor of the Hainan province,Zhu Xiaoliang,director-general of the Department of Market Running and Consumption Promotion under the Ministry of Commerce，Han Shengjian, director of Hainan International Economic Development Bureau were present.The on-going situation of the CICPE was introduced and questions from the journalists were answered.

中国网讯 3月24日上午，国新办就首届中国国际消费品博览会有关情况举行发布会，商务部副部长王炳南，省委常委、常务副省长沈丹阳，商务部市场运行和消费促进司司长朱小良，海南国际经济发展局局长韩圣健介绍首届消博会有关情况，并答记者问。

The first CICPE,jointly-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and Hainan People’s Government,is scheduled to be held between May 7 and May 10 in Haikou city,the provincial capital of Hainan.

首届消博会将于2021年5月7日至10日在海口举行，由商务部和海南省政府共同举办。

Based on what has been introduced,the hold of CICPE is a practical step in implementing the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Counci and a great effort to create Hainan International Tourism Consumption Center,which are key to promote the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port.The first CICPE is featured with “high standard，new products,quality service and special policy”, according to the plan, the CICPE will be built into a global exhibition and exchange platform for international boutiques, as well as a national leading exhibition in dimensions of internationalization extent, exhibitions value per unit area and number of firstly-issued exhibitions.It is predicted that the participating purchasers and dealers from various places would amount over 10,000 and there will be more than 200,000 visiting person-times during the 4-day exhibition.

据介绍，举办中国国际消费品博览会，是贯彻落实中央决策部署，建设海南国际旅游消费中心的实际行动，对推进海南自由贸易港建设具有重要意义。首届消博会聚焦“高、新、优、特”消费精品，力争国际化水平、单位面积展品价值、首发首展数量国内领先，将打造成为全球消费精品展示交易的重要平台。预计展会期间，专业采购商和各省专业客商将超过10000人，观众超过20万人次。

In order to peace the participants’mind and provide them with the quality serive at all aspects,the provincial committee of CPC and the provincial government have paid great attention to the service guarantee work of the first CICPE. A comprehensive guarantee office and a squad for city service guarantee have been established by the organizing committee of the CICPE and Haikou municipal government,respectively.

为了让参会人员安心参会，海南省委省政府高度关注首届消博会的服务保障工作，消博会组委会成立综合保障部、海口市成立了城市服务领导保障小组，精心做好各方面的服务保障工作。

It is understood that in terms of covid-19 prevention and control, a two-level provincial-to-municipal plan of  prevetion and control as well as emergency response is under design in Hainan. The drawing of a guide book for exhibits and visitors under this special backdrop is also undergoing. Overall the principle is that “accuracy” and  “convenience”must be both achieved. Meanwhile, different online live channels introducing the CICPE will also be available for those who can’t make themselves to be the event physically.

据介绍，在疫情防控方面，海南正在制定省市两级疫情防控工作方案和应急处置预案，对于参展商和观众，正在制定参展疫情防控指南，总体原则是既要做到精准防控，又要方便快捷。此外，消博会将开通各类线上直播平台，让不方便来琼的人士可以通过线上互动方式了解消博会盛况。
